We are seeking a passionate and experienced Montessori Curriculum Coordinator to oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of our Montessori educational program.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Montessori principles, curriculum design, and instructional best practices.
Responsibilities:
1.
**Curriculum Development:**
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and educational experts to design and develop a comprehensive Montessori curriculum that aligns with the school's mission and philosophy.
- Ensure that the curriculum meets Montessori standards and integrates key principles such as individualized learning, hands-on experiences, and multi-age classrooms.

**Instructional Support:**
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to teachers in implementing the Montessori curriculum effectively.
- Offer professional development opportunities, workshops, and training sessions to enhance teachers' understanding of Montessori principles and teaching methods.
3.
**Assessment and Evaluation:**
- Develop assessment tools and methods to evaluate student progress and the effectiveness of the Montessori curriculum.
- Analyze assessment data to identify areas for improvement and make adjustments to the curriculum as needed.
4.
**Resource Management:**
- Manage resources, materials, and supplies necessary for implementing the Montessori curriculum.
- Identify and procure Montessori-specific materials, books, and resources to support teaching and learning.
5.
**Parent and Community Engagement:**
- Communicate regularly with parents to educate them about Montessori principles and the curriculum.
- Foster positive relationships with families and the broader community by organizing events, workshops, and informational sessions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or related field or minimum of 5 years of experience teaching in a Montessori environment
- Montessori certification (AMI or AMS) highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy, principles, methodology, and Reggio Emilia
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to effectively train and support teachers in implementing the Montessori curriculum.
- Experience in curriculum development and assessment preferred.
