The Training Coordinator is responsible for establishing close partnerships and communication with user departments, city management, employees, and appropriate educational agencies and consultants in order to coordinate, develop, facilitate, and/or make recommendations for present and future training and development opportunities.
Other responsibilities include: Plan, coordinate and/or conduct general and specialized training programs for the personal and professional development of the organization's workforce, contracting with professional speakers/trainers or other vendors when needed.
Develop and/or obtain programs and maintain a training library (curriculum/instructional materials and presentations for training and development purposes) for employee and organizational development.
Travel to various office locations to conduct in person and classroom training.
Develop and administer online training for all employees.
Coordinate with management information related to the continuing effort of organizational and employee development and communicate those efforts to the workforce.
Evaluate and research new training and development programs and services that may benefit the development of the organization and workforce.
Make recommendations for new programs to the Human Resources Director.
Ensure the compliance of the company's employees to cooperate with standards and procedures during training sessions.
Analyze the effectiveness of training and workshops to the employees and develop appropriate modifications as needed.
Provide Support and mentoring for new and existing employees while conducting an evaluation and identifying sections where improvement are needed.
Prepare and manage the budget for the Training division of the Human Resources Department.
Participate in the strategic business process for the Human Resources department.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field from an accredited institution, 3 years relevant experience, and 1 year supervisory experience.
Intermediate to advanced experience in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
) and HRIS software.
Must be a self-starter and work independently.
Detail and customer service orientated.
Ability to read and understand instructions, labels, reports, etc.
Ability to effectively communicate information both written and oral and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to travel 25% of the time to various locations.
Must possess a valid state driver’s license and meet Company's auto insurability requirements.

Flexibility to work irregular hours is necessary due to client needs.
Work responsibilities may require out of town travel to Raba Kistner offices, client offices and project locations.
