Job Description
The Department of Curriculum & Instruction is seeking a non-tenure track adjunct faculty in curriculum and instruction.
Responsibilities :
Teaching undergraduate courses in art and music education in the K-6 grade classroom
Working with lead faculty
Candidates must have experience with curriculum and teaching in elementary and/or secondary public U.
S.
schools.
Will prepare and teach the assigned class following a syllabus guideline.
Maintain appropriate records, assign earned grades, report needed data to the department, and complete all necessary development assessment information.
Teaching assignments may include in-person and online instruction during the day, night, and/or weekends.
Required Education and Experience:
Earned Master’s degree in education or a related field
Teaching Experience in EC-12
Preferred Education and Experience:
Earned doctorate (Ph.
D.
or Ed.
D.
) in education or a related field
Successful experience in college teaching
Working with pre-service teachers
Once selected, applicants will be required to submit additional documents which may include three (3) original professional letters of recommendation and official transcripts from each degree-granting institution.
Unofficial transcripts are accepted by email before the hiring process is complete.
Prior to issuing a letter of appointment, official transcripts must be received directly from each degree-granting institution by the Search Committee at the address or email listed below.
Letters of recommendation must also be sent to the address or email listed and must be received directly from each author.
