Be a part of the Catapult Learning team to make a difference! We are looking for qualified and experienced Certified or Licensed School Counselors in South Texas to address needs associated with learning loss that surfaced due to the COVID pandemic.
In-person counseling at a school in your area (participating schools are located throughout San Antonio)
Full-time schedules during regular school hours
Diverse students in grades K-8
Small group/individual counseling
Service multiple grade levels and effectively provide students, staff, and parents with clinical, therapeutic, and specialized counseling services and mental health resources

School Counselor Job Duties:
Counsel individual or small groups of students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face school setting.
Conduct classroom guidance lessons
Hold individual and small group counseling for students with signed parental consent.
Counseling may focus on academic, emotional, behavioral, or developmental issues to promote enhanced school functioning and to remove barriers to academic success.
Provide support to families, classroom teachers, school principal and other school personnel to maximize effectiveness of services.
Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classrooms/learning stations.
Climbing stairs and light lifting may be required.
Perform data entry in a timely fashion to meet deadlines (student attendance, progress reports, parent and classroom teacher communication forms, compliance documentation).
Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by company, local, state, and federal agencies.
Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.
Other duties as assigned.
School Counselor Requirements:
One of the following: LPC, LPC-A, LMSW, LCSW, or School Counselor Certificate
Master Degree in a Counseling or Social Work Field
Experience with counseling children and/or students
Willingness and ability to work with various grade levels
Working knowledge of MS Office and Zoom/Teams preferred
A passion to help students!
