Pre-K 4 Teacher

Employment Status: Full Time, 2024-25 School Year FLSA: Exempt Department: Faculty Reports To: Elementary Assistant Principal Supervises: None Relates To: Administration, Faculty, Parents, Students Position Description: Our mission at Bracken Christian School is to partner with Christian families through the leadership and guidance of the Holy Spirit to provide an excellent education within the context of a biblical worldview, equipping students to impact their communities for Christ.
You will be responsible for preparing goals that actively engage students in activities, giving engaging instruction, and building strong relationships with students.
You will know how to organize a class, make learning a meaningful and enjoyable process.
Qualifications: Education/Certification: * Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in early childhood development or related field from an accredited institution.
* Alternately, a bachelor’s degree in a non related field from an accredited institution and a CDA; a bachelor’s degree in a non related field from an accredited institution AND nine credit hours of college coursework in early childhood education/child development or related field; or a national or state level Director’s Credential.
* Holds (or be eligible to hold) a teaching certificate in early childhood education.
* Must maintain First Aid and CPR certification.
* Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience: * Strong Christian faith and personal testimony.
* Prior Christian school experience.
* Proven experience as an upper grade elementary school teacher.
