Position Summary
University of the Incarnate Word invites part-time faculty candidates for Pharmacy Practice within the Feik School of Pharmacy.
This position will teach required or elective courses as needed within the pharmacy curriculum.

Essential Functions
Teach required or elective courses to include the teaching flexibility of an in-person, online, or hybrid format.
Work collaboratively with departmental faculty to ensure standard curriculum outcomes are met.
Be available outside of class to help students learn and to answer their questions (1 hour/week per 3-credit hour class, physically and/or electronically).
Conduct respectful relationships with faculty, staff, and students both in and outside the classroom.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Ability to interact with a diverse body of student, faculty, and staff.
Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.
Required Education
Doctor of Pharmacy degree or Bachelor of Pharmacy.
Required Work Experience
At least two (2) years of pharmacy experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience teaching.
Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations
Licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of Texas.
Work Hours
Based on course assignment.
Physical Demands
Typical for faculty in this specialty.
