Teaching Assistant - Reading Program

Country Day Montessori seeks a temporary, part-time seasoned Reading assistant for our Montessori classes.
Salary is based on education and experience.
The hours are from 9:00 – 12:00 We’d love to have someone five days a week but are flexible.
The perfect fit would be someone who is a retired school teacher or retired Montessori teacher, but a willing, kind go-getter will be welcome.
The main responsibilities will include spearheading our reading program for Primary students.
Located in the North-Eastern quadrant of San Antonio, the school has served children from New Braunfels to South San Antonio for over thirty years.
Our spacious four-acre campus with goats, chickens and gardens has plenty of room for children and teachers to stretch their legs and enjoy nature.
Candidates should enjoy children but know when to be understanding and when to be strict.
Candidates should be independent, reliable, and collaborative.
