Pre-K Teacher

Responsibilities: - Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children - Help to instill faith-based principles - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow - Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in young children - Teach literacy skills through storytelling, reading, and writing activities - Manage classroom behavior and promote positive social interactions - Incorporate physical education activities to promote gross motor skills development - Assess and monitor the progress of each child's learning and development - Collaborate with parents to support their child's educational journey Skills: - Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices - Experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting - Ability to create engaging lesson plans that promote learning and creativity - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues - Proficiency in behavior management techniques to create a positive classroom environment - Knowledge of literacy education strategies to support early reading and writing skills - Familiarity with math concepts appropriate for preschool-aged children - Understanding of child welfare guidelines and procedures Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
