```Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Part Time Assistant Teacher to join our team.
As an Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting the lead teacher in creating a positive and nurturing learning environment for children.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans
- Support students with behavior management and provide guidance in developing positive social skills
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to create engaging and interactive learning experiences
- Assist with classroom management, including maintaining a safe and organized environment
- Provide individualized attention and support to students with special needs, including those on the autism spectrum
- Foster a love for literacy by incorporating reading and language activities into daily lessons
- Assist with the preparation of materials, resources, and activities for classroom instruction
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a preschool or special education setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques
- Experience in curriculum development and implementation
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including students with special needs
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and compassion when working with children
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
