1st Grade Teacher

The Lilypad Garden & Farm School is looking for a highly qualified, energetic teacher to nurture, care for and teach our 1st grade students for the 2024/2025 school year.
Strong skills in planning and teaching curriculum is required.

* Utilizing ongoing assessments to provide targeted instruction based on the child's current academic ability * Teaching in a fun and engaging way using songs, interactive games and hands on activities * Compliance with Childcare Licensing state health/safety standards * Routine chores to maintain a clean and aesthetically pleasing environment * Providing a loving and nurturing environment * Communicating with parents effectively regarding the well being and care of their child through frequent verbal and electronic communication *All applicants must have at least two years experience working with children in a public, private, charter or licensed child care setting.
**An early childhood degree is required or alternative certification.
