Philip’s College is a Historically Black College and Hispanic-Serving Institution with a population of approximately 13,000 students.

We seek faculty experienced in developing course content and delivering instructional practices, as well as staff experienced in delivering supportive services, for diverse populations who have the ability to communicate issues and concerns faced by racially minoritized students.

Job Summary and Description Teaching faculty are professional educators who have the primary responsibility of fulfilling the District mission of providing a quality education for all students attending the colleges.
Categories include full-time, temporary with benefits, and temporary without benefits.
Faculty members are responsible to a department/program chairperson; The relationship of the faculty member to the student is one of leader, teacher, advisor, and facilitator of learning.
Faculty members will uphold the mission and values of the colleges’ and foster effective working relationships with students and colleagues.
Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience: Associate’s degree in Surgical Technology; PLUS three years documentation of demonstrated work experience in the teaching field.
Hold credentials in the field of surgical technology through a national certification that is accredited by the National Commission on Certifying Agencies (NCCA) such as The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
