*Education/Certification:*
High School Diploma (College preferred)
*Special Knowledge/Skills:*
* Knowledge of public education and federal and state mandated special programs
* Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent spelling and attention to detail
* Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
* Above average computer skills including Word, Excel, and Microsoft suite, and ability to learn new programs as needed
*Major Responsibilities and Duties*
* Maintain professional decorum and protect confidentiality of all staff, parents, and students
* Assist program staff with clerical tasks including copies, compiling work packets, sending information home with students, file and distribute records
* Monitor completion of compliance tasks/checklists as meetings occur
* Gather input data required for meetings and evaluations from parents, teachers, and staff as directed by the Campus Coordinator
* Assist with organization of student records; maintain audit files
* Prepare compliance reports as requested
* Communicate with related services providers and assessment staff regarding student availability for services/evaluation
* Assist Coordinator in tracking timelines for annual meetings/evaluations
* Assist Coordinator with scheduling of assessments, parent meetings, annual meetings, etc.

* Disseminate updated plan information to teachers, as necessary
* Assist teachers with students with students as instructed by the Campus Special Education Coordinator
* Maintain professional relationships with staff members and administrators.

* Posture: Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting
* Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds)

* Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions; ability to handle high-volume, fast paced work load, detailed oriented, good judgment in handling confidential information, flexibility under pressure is a must.
