Salary Salary Range: Up to $45,000 annualized, commensurate with education, experience and qualifications.
Hours per Week Exempt Position: 40 hours per week.

Essential Functions Summary Provide leadership and supervision for the department in the areas of student programming, campus traditional programming, budgeting, and daily administrative functions.
Responsible for collaborating with small groups and committees to design, develop, plan, prepare, and implement quality programming and events at UTSA.
Responsible for promoting and providing education on campus.
Duties Facilitates, promotes, develops and coordinates large, campus-wide events/activities such as Howdy Rowdy Bash, BestFest, Dia en la Sombrilla and other assigned programs including assessment and impact on student belonging and retention.
Supports programs and events sponsored by the Student Involvement Center and university-wide programs including Roadrunner Days, Homecoming and Commencement.
Serves as a liaison between Fiesta San Antonio Commission and UTSA.
Advises the Roadrunner Productions and the Student Advisory board, sponsored student organizations in facilitating program production, budget.
Develops and implements strategies to increase the quality and quantity of student programming.
Coordinates events and programs specifically designed for the downtown campus.
Interprets institutional and system policies related to student organizations to students attending the Downtown campus.
Evaluate policies and procedures and make recommendations to the Director of the Student Involvement Center.
Serves as a member of the Expressive Activity Response Team addressing elevated demonstrations on campus.
Assist with oversight of small-scale campus expressive activity.
Collaborates with other campus offices to promote student engagement including Student Activities, Housing and Residence Life, Career Services, Multicultural Student Center for Equity and Justice, Center for Civic Engagement, as well as academic colleges and departments.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Higher Education, Student Personnel Administration, Education, or related field.
3 years of related experience.
Additional education may substitute for required experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Anthology Engaged, and Adobe Photoshop.
Demonstrated skills in the following areas: student advising, budgeting, program planning, project management, marketing, and effective collaboration with diverse constituencies.
Demonstrated independent decision-making and risk management planning.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications 2 years student advising, and event planning in university setting preferred.
Working Conditions May work around standard office conditions.
Uses standard office equipment 25% travel Requires occasional evening or weekend hours This position will be primarily located: On Campus: Primary work location will be on campus.
Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility.
