Salary Range: $41,817- $52,160 annualized, commensurate with education, experience and qualifications.
Hours: up to 40 hours per week, exempt.

Essential Functions Job Summary To provide outreach, information, and counseling regarding the admissions process for transfer students and university student services.
Serves as an information resource and back up to the Associate Director of Admissions and Recruitment.
Helps to manage recruitment plans, strategies and training programs for staff.
Responsible for providing information, resources and services in support of the transition of undergraduate transfer students into the university.
Core Responsibilities Core Responsibilities 1.
Responsible for providing information and services in support of recruiting new transfer students into the university.
2.
Counsels prospective and transferring students regarding admissions procedures, credit transfer, university policies.
3.
Coordinates, organizes, and presents programs and events both virtual and in person supporting recruitment opportunities at community colleges, career and college fairs, and advising workshops.
4.
Advises students on transfer plans, joint admission agreements, and the transfer calculator.
Develops, implements, and maintains strategies of the transfer student recruitment plan.
5.
Provides preliminary academic advising, and admissions counseling for transfer students and works through established degree plans and transfer guides.
6.
Coordinates, organizes, and participates in major recruitment programs, events, and other opportunities both on and off campus as well as virtual and in person.
7.
May serve as a supervisor and mentor to Transfer Specialist Is and IIs.
8.
Responds to written information requests from prospective transfer students through our Customer Relations Management system (CRM) Salesforce.
This will be complete through computer, phone calls, email, etc.
9.
Coordinates all aspects of assigned recruitment territories and strategizes based on current and historical data.
10.
Works closely with campus partners and Strategic Enrollment leadership to implement recruitment plan throughout entire recruitment season.
11.
Prepares written reports on admissions recruitment numbers and data on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis for the Associate Director of Admissions and leadership.
12.
Local recruitment territory within the Alamo College 13.
Increase visibility in the local community and increase recruitment numbers.
14.
Assists Military Connected students with all aspects of the transfer admissions process.
15.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Three years of admissions/recruiting/advising or related experience.
Demonstrated public and interpersonal communications skills.
Personal computer proficiency to include working with Salesforce/Banner, Outlook, Zoom, audio-visual presentation equipment, and standard office equipment.
Valid driver's license and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Additional Information UTSA is a tobacco free campus.
This is a security sensitive position.

Working Conditions Office Environment.
Significant travel using either personal vehicle, rental vehicle, or UTSA fleet vehicle.
Some moderate lifting of up to 40 lbs may be required.
Weekend and evening work may be required.
This position will require working both remotely in Texas and on campus (approximately five or more days on campus per month).
Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility.
Applicants must be adaptable and open to working in both environments.
