Our partner is reputable CPA firm based in San Antonio seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join their team.
The ideal candidate is someone with a strong foundation in bookkeeping and accounting principles, capable of managing multiple client accounts across various industries.
This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and providing comprehensive financial reports.
*Responsibilities:*
* Manage bookkeeping and financial record-keeping for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
* Record financial transactions, complete the posting process, and reconcile accounts diligently.
* Generate and deliver tailored Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports to meet each client's unique requirements.
* Craft precise journal entries for efficient allocation of expenses and corrections, including after-tax return calculations like depreciation.
* Maintain up-to-date documentation of financial transaction details and monitor transactions regularly.
* Prepare and file financial documents, assist with tax payments, and support the tax return process.
* Collaborate closely with the accounting and management teams to enhance organizational culture and streamline processes.
*Must-Have Requirements:*
* Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.
* Solid experience in bookkeeping with a deep understanding of accounting principles.
* Ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records accurately.
* Proficiency in data entry, spreadsheets, MS Office, and English.
* Experience with the payroll process and payroll data tracking.
* Exceptional customer service orientation, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Intrinsic motivation and high degree of personal organization.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* Bookkeeping certification or license.
* Willingness to adhere to standard procedures and practices.
*Experience:*
* 10+ years in bookkeeping, with specific experience in a CPA firm environment preferred.
*Education:*
* Associate or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related discipline preferred.
