*Purpose:* The fundamental role of a Staff Accountant is to prepare and review financial documents, reports, and statements.
A Staff Accountant oversees all accounting procedures (e.
g.
tax returns, month-end closures, budgeting) and advise on general financial matters.
*Duties & Responsibilities:* * Monitor and verify inventory reporting of receipt and consumption activities within ZOHO inventory and QuickBooks Online * Collaborate with production planning team to forecast and plan inventory needs * Provide assistance with forecasts and budget details as needed * Implement and maintain inventory control systems and procedures * Monitor inventory accuracy and conduct regular audits * Inventory valuations and inventory reserve calculations * Assist with establishing internal controls * Review account analysis on Balance Sheet and P&L accounts * Enter and review journal entries in QBO for inventory adjustments and WIP accounts * Reconcile monthly cycle counts and semi-annual physical counts to the perpetual inventory ledger * Maintain inventory account receivable log for all inventory movement and sales * Own the end-to-end inventory verification and traceably of accounts receivable, inventory location and tracking processes *Skills & Abilities:* * Knowledge of Accounting Practices * Familiarity with ERP systems and GAAP * Ability to ensure the completeness and accuracy of inventory * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions * Proficiency in using inventory management software/systems * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams * Good knowledge of Excel a must * Good knowledge of Quickbooks and/or other accounting software * Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail *Education*: * High school degree or equivalent * Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business required *Experience*: * At least 1 year of previous work experience in inventory management or related roles * Experience in Quickbooks a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $50,000.
