*Job Description:* Shannon Galvanizing is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting Assistant.
This role will primarily focus on billing and accounts receivable for our industrial company.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting or bookkeeping, exceptional customer service skills, and proficiency in Excel.
*Responsibilities:* 1.
Handle billing and accounts receivable processes efficiently and accurately.
2.
Engage in heavy telephone interaction with customers to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
3.
Maintain meticulous records and ensure all financial transactions are properly documented.
4.
Utilize expert Excel skills, including vlookups and charts, to analyze financial data and generate reports.
5.
Collaborate with the accounting team to support various tasks and projects as needed.
6.
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
*Requirements:* 1.
Minimum of 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
2.
Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
3.
Strong customer service experience, particularly in a role involving heavy telephone interaction.
4.
Proficiency in Excel, including vlookups and charts.
5.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6.
Experience with ERP systems or Quickbooks Online is a plus.
