Pipefitter II

TITLE: Pipefitter II JOB DUTIES / GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: This position is synonymous with an “Apprentice” position in the trades.
This position has 3 or more years of experience and is considered to have in-depth knowledge of piping and wet side HVAC applications but still requires some assistance.
The Pipefitter II repairs and replaces piping systems, pipe supports and equipment for heating/cooling commercial and industrial applications and is supervised by a Pipefitter III or above.
· In-depth knowledge of piping and wet-side HVAC applications.
· Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain HVAC piping systems.
· Repair and replace piping systems, pipe supports, and equipment for heating/cooling commercial and industrial applications.
· Document work by completing paperwork and backup documentation.
· Must have 3 to 5 years’ experience.
· Uphold high standards of safety at all times.
· Work to increase personal growth and knowledge of wet-side HVAC applications.
· Effective communicator with customers and management.
· Self-starter, high energy level.
· Requires the ability to lift heavy objects, frequent bending and lifting, standing and walking over uneven terrain or in confined spaces, and safely climb ladders.
