San Antonio Staffing is currently hiring a Pool Plasterer.
Responsibilities:
- Apply plaster, stucco, or similar materials to walls, ceilings, or other surfaces
- Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, smoothing, and leveling
- Mix plaster ingredients according to specific formulas or instructions
- Apply coats of plaster or stucco to walls or ceilings using trowels, brushes, or spray guns
- Create decorative finishes by applying coats of colored or textured plaster
- Repair cracks, holes, and other damage in plaster or stucco surfaces
- Follow blueprints, schematics, or design plans to ensure accurate application of plaster or stucco
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment used in plastering work
Skills:
- Strong carpentry skills to prepare surfaces for plastering
- Knowledge of construction estimating to accurately assess materials and labor needed for projects
- Proficiency in working with stucco materials for exterior applications
- Ability to restore and repair damaged plaster or stucco surfaces
- Familiarity with drywall installation and finishing techniques
- Understanding of masonry principles for proper surface preparation
- Experience operating heavy equipment for moving materials and accessing work areas
- Proficient in using hand tools such as trowels, brushes, and spray guns
- Basic welding skills for repairing metal structures if required
