Boeing Defense Space & Security VC-25B (747-8) is seeking an Entry-Level Engineering Zonal Task Leader to join our team in San Antonio, Texas.

VC-25B Zonal Task Leader to support production build.
Position Responsibilities: This is a dedicated shipside engineering integration role for the VC-25B production build lifecycle.
Responsible for critical shipside engineering assignments as Engineering Task Leaders supporting the Air Vehicle Integrated Product Team (IPT) across all zones.
The Zonal Task Leaders (ZTL's) will support the Aircraft Ship Captains and ultimately the IPT Leaders.
This support effort is through the entire production build to aircraft delivery and includes, but is not limited to the following: Represents the design engineering organization to interpret engineering drawings and provide clarification on engineering intent to mechanics, operations leaders, liaison/ manufacturing/ industrial engineering, quality, and program management.
Provides cross-team engineering integration and drives the design maturity through development, modification, and test phases of the VC-25B major aircraft modification.
Monitors overall build and sequence for alignment with design intent and provides technical recommendations for decisions related to the re-sequencing of the jobs, work-breakdown structure, and precedence network.
Assists in rapid execution of engineering drawing revisions as a response to production build.
Supports mechanics with engineering input for clarifications and/or improvements.
Supports PRR build integration and impact assessments.
Communicates and executes engineering prioritization within the IPT zones.
Leads research of technical, operational and quality issues and recommends engineering solutions.
Work Authorization: This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.
An interim and/or final U.
S.
Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.
g.
Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
