Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Ordering Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated North American Parts Ordering Analyst.
The primary responsibility of this role is for section management to ensure inventory and supplier mgmt.
targets are being met in support of production targets.
This involves ensuring People, Processes, and Systems are in place to achieve targets.
Reporting to the Manager PC North American Parts Ordering, the person in this role will support the Ordering Department's objective to support North American Parts Ordering Hoshin of inventory Management: ~50 Suppliers and ~400 part numbers.
What you’ll be doing
Inventory Management (In house and Pipeline)
Non-Standard Inventory Resolution
Supplier Management (Supply chain disruption meetings, escalation, tracking, reporting and recovery)
Changepoint implementation for logistics periods, Vehicle Design (Engineering part changes/Model Year changeover), and internal Delivery flow
Improvements/Kaizen to current Inventory management systems
Support model changeover activity- systems and part readiness
Tracking and root cause identification and report out of supplier base service disruptions
Countermeasures follow-up and capability checks with supplier base
Cost savings measures implemented and documented
Utilize daily part counts and pipeline information to determine necessary inventory adjustments Interaction with Suppliers and Plant personnel to understand inventory issues and implement solutions to prevent production line interruptions
What you bring
Production Control, Automotive, Supply Chain or manufacturing experience
Experience managing material flow or supplier contingency/crisis
Knowledge of automotive pre-production/mass production
Inventory Level out of standard problem-solving
Added bonus if you have
Experience operating in the Toyota Supplier Network
Experience at NAMC Prod/PC environment
Experience with supply chain contingency mgmt.
within the Toyota Supplier and Logistics Network
Experience with e-kanban system
