Job Description We currently have an immediate opening in the San Antonio, TX area.
An ideal applicant would be a Journeyman Electrician that has previous experience installing a variety of residential solar systems and has a knowledge of the residential electrical service field.
This is not a sit behind the desk position.
This individual will need to be out in the field ensuring that our projects are being completed safely and efficiently, our crews are professional.
This is long term work with the opportunity for direct hire down the road.
Pay is between 55,000.
00 and 60,000.
00 + Installation Bonuses $60,000.
00 will be offered to the Ideal candidate holding a Journeyman’s License.
This salaried position will be offered to the right individual will show the ability to manage daily operations as well as teams of installers with efficiency and dedication to tasks at hand.
Either a company vehicle or a vehicle allowance will also be provided for this individual.
Requirements: Valid driver's license Ideally 2 -years’ experience in solar construction and electrical Proven leadership experience Ability to build/ motivate a team to complete objectives in a timely manner and with pride in their work Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize work and multitask Ability to navigate efficiently through basic computer programs Proven ability to correspond effectively through email Ability to problem solve and work independently *Strong organizational skills and attention to detail* Responsibilities: Arrives at 5:00am to walk the Crew Leads through the expectations for the day Review the job site and review specifics Visit each install for the day (PV and Electrical) Route each day for the following day ~1-2 hours on site Contact all crews in which he is visiting for additional material needs Verify with HO that crews were professional and courteous Onsite IQ Scorecard/Checklist Safety Quality Efficiency Professionalism Site Cleanliness Vehicle Cleanliness and stock levels Take the time to train in areas that will improve on deficient items Let the lead know how the team did and discuss recommendations for improvement and reinforce good behavior Give final installation recommendations Help with any additional items needed to ensure market growth and project movement Permit submittals Site evaluations Installs when needed
