The Customer Success Technician is a full-time role that will work to provide exceptional installation and service experience for Bertec customers.
In this position, you will coordinate and complete the installation and service of our systems, working together with our customers and Customer Success team to ensure that installation and service visits are performed in a timely and professional manner.
The Customer Success Technician will be a key part of a regional team that provides support across the realms of sales, service, and support to customers and partners.
To be successful, you will collaborate with other departments to access knowledge and resources to facilitate solutions for customers.
These responsibilities will be achieved via an unwavering focus on our core values of people, integrity, precision, and science.
This role will report to the VP of Customer Success.
*Responsibilities* * 80% travel expected – domestic and international * Install Bertec systems, including Force Plates, Treadmills, and more * Perform maintenance work on Bertec systems in the field * Work with customers both remotely and on-site to diagnose issues * Track and log service and installation work * Coordinate with customers and Customer Success team to determine the requirements of the installation/service, as well as schedule and book travel arrangements * Perform site surveys of new and existing customer sites * Maintain a detailed understanding of products and technical solutions, as well as an understanding of how Bertec systems are used in the labs/clinics where work is performed * Build relationships with customers at every opportunity * Enable customer success with Bertec by maintaining a positive, customer-centric perspective * Capture customer feedback and suggestions and report such feedback and requests through the proper channels * Based on skills and experience, perform assembly or other work at Bertec HQ on non-travel days as needed * Ensure accurate, high-quality, and timely completion of all work duties.
*May include: *Create and manage FAQ documents for service and installation.
Complete additional training on products as needed *Skills* * Passion for software/technology/engineering * High level of computer literacy * Computational skills * Proficiency using common hand tools * Ability to understand mechanical and electrical drawings * Excellent time management * Accountability and personal organization * Seek to provide solutions as quickly as possible, with a white-glove approach * High energy, confident, and self-motivated * Comfortable working with executive level customers - PhDs, physicians, business leaders * Capable of working independently and as part of a team * Exceptional technical problem-solving skills * Excellent interpersonal skills * Collaborative * Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task under pressure of deadlines *Qualifications* * Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.

* Must reside within a 20 miles radius (roughly 30-minute travel) from an international airport hub, as validated by Bertec, to provide easy access to domestic and international flight options * Ability to use hands to precisely manipulate very small parts and assemblies * Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or its equivalent, as well as 1-3 years of related experience (an associates or bachelor’s degree in engineering or human movement sciences, e.
