Okay so… this is my third time having to post this job, because moving guys all call for the job, then flake out at the last minute.
After four times of this no-show stuff, and flaky guys not being serious over and over, now here is the current situation:
This is not right nor fair.
NowI have already left Texas, and now I am having to stay in an Extended stay, after already paying for a new lease, because no guys come through, and I have to keep dealing with this.
I had to lock up apartment with everything in it, and leave because people don’t show up when they say they will! One guy was “trying to show up” texting me for two full days, but never showed.
Then night of, he texts me that his box truck broke down.
And doesn’t answer phone most of the time.
Another guy gives me a quote, engages with me fully about the move for days, then Ghosts me the two days before, and then texts me THE DAY OF the move today - to tell me he no longer wants to do the move at the price HE agreed on-So on The day of, he suddenly reappears, and no longer agrees with the quote we agreed on.
C’mon, Man.
This isn’t fair at all.
If I wasn’t a chick that can’t lift big furniture on my own, then I’d moved it a long time ago myself.
Now I ran out of time.
Now I MUST get my stuff all moved out by the end of Monday the 1st.
No exceptions.
Or my newer furniture will be on the curb out in Texas, while I already moved out of state ON TIME, & LIKE I SAID I would.

Please call ONLY if you are SERIOUSLYreliable men, have the equipment needed (a 16” box truck, or an ENCLOSED trailer), and NOT JUST LOOKING FOR “QUICK MONEY” (I get soooo many of those) and have appropriate equipment large enough or small enough for my move.
That is not my specialty so I hire guys to do the job.
Should be simple and logical enough, right? But NO.
I keep getting all these calls and texts all day, and everyone is so busy trying to scrounge and “save a buck”, that one guy showed up with too small of a trailer BEFORE even coming to see the move at all—desperate for work, and then to save money too.
Then got all mad that the move was too large for what he brought.
😞.
Then he tries to get mad at me! What? If I had a drink for each Male drama and false leading me on to actually DO the Job, lately, I’d be an alcoholic now, and that is no joke.
Sorry for this long post, but this is so frustrating at this point that I already moved half of it myself and packed it up in my Kia Soul
Please—I need professional movers.
I must be out by end of day Monday now!😩.
Anybody out there that can do this simple move? Pretty please.
