Utilities Technician Department: Public Works Division: Utilities Interview Zipcode: 78253 Work Location Zipcode: 78015 Start Date: ASAP Hourly Pay: Depending on Experience Assignment Duration: Temporary 90 Days with possible extension Point of Contact: Water/Wasterwater Supervisor Utilities Worker is responsible for operating various equipment in construction, wastewater treatment operation, repair, and replacement of water supply, or distribution facilities and systems.
Must have strong interpersonal skills, verbal, and written communication skills.
Must be able to drive various size work trucks and weight in the loading, hauling and unlaoding of various euipment , grave, and sand.
Monitors performance of electrical systems, circuits, or equipment of treatment plants.
