Position Information
TxDOT’s Karnes City Maintenance office is responsible for maintaining around 630 lane miles throughout Karnes County.
Our General Transportation Technicians (Highway Maintenance Techs) are the heart of TxDOT and play a vital role in ensuring a safe throughway for the traveling public.
This office utilizes light and heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, backhoes, skid steers and motor graders, just to name a few.

Related technical training or education from an accredited institution may be substituted for experience on a year per year basis.
