Position Summary:
The Electronic Banking Specialist is expected to support Wire Department, Internet Banking, Mobile Deposits, Voice response system, ATM/debit cards, Cash Management, ACH and Remote Deposit Capture.
This individual will assist customers and provide phone support on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
• Emulate SSB&T Core Values
• Develop and apply working knowledge of electronic banking products & services
• Provide support to all areas (Internet Banking/Voice Response, ATM/Debit Cards, Cash Management, ACH and Remote Deposit Capture, Wire Transfers)
• Activate and approve customer online banking applications
• Maintenance and manage online banking customer files
• Adjustments for ACH and ATM disputes
• Maintenance and manage Online Account opening
• Communication as necessary with vendors
• Assist in routine daily customer service activities
• Balance overall functions for the two departments
• Provide support to branch employees
• Provide support to customers
• Be available to assist with visits to customer locations to aid in merchant training and installation of Cash Management and Remote Deposit Capture
Requirements:
• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) - some college (preferred)
• Must have proficient skills with computer, phone, and other devices
• Must have experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and organization are necessary.
