As a Production Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in managing a diverse and talented manufacturing team.
Your primary objective is to organize, lead, and supervise the manufacturing process to ensure the achievement of production goals and maintain high-quality standards.
*Responsibilities:* * *Team Management:* * Manage and lead a diverse manufacturing team, providing direction and support.
* Conduct training and mentorship programs for team members.
* Counsel employees on optimizing output and workflow.
* *Production Organization:* * Organize, monitor, and prioritize tasks to meet production goals efficiently.
* Evaluate daily progress against the production schedule, ensuring all deadlines are met.
* *Communication and Quality Assurance:* * Maintain effective communication among team members to ensure understanding of processes and quality expectations.
* Perform quality checks on each machine process and approve "first article" production samples.
* *Work Area Management:* * Ensure a neat, clean, and organized work area.
* Evaluate equipment conditions and promptly report irregularities to the Operations Manager.
* *Safety and Compliance:* * Ensure compliance with safety and professional standards within the Aldez facility.
* Ensure employees work safely with proper PPE and adherence to procedures.
*Skills and Qualifications:* * Prior experience in the packaging industry is preferred.
* Some maintenance experience is advantageous.
* Previous experience in a manufacturing facility is required.
* Supervisory experience is essential.
* Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a dedicated work ethic.
* Ability to handle complex issues in a fast-paced setting.
