*QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER*

*Responsibilities:*
* *Quality Management:* Lead the development and implementation of quality processes for incoming parts and outgoing products.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality guidelines.
* *Engineering Knowledge:* Possess a strong understanding of drawing tolerances, weld symbols, and finishes.
Familiarity with engineering processes and documentation, such as SOPs, ECNs, and work instructions.
* *Inspection Expertise:* Utilize your knowledge of quality inspection tools and best practices to conduct thorough part inspections, maintaining high product quality standards.
* *Supplier Relations:* Communicate effectively with suppliers and manufacturers to resolve any issues or concerns related to quality and product performance.
* *Autodesk Software Proficiency: *Update drawings and BOMs using Autodesk software, contributing to accurate and up-to-date engineering documentation.
* *Continuous Improvement:* Review new and existing parts for opportunities to enhance manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
* *Problem Solving:* Research and analyze part defects and mistakes, devising effective countermeasures to prevent reoccurrence.
* *Standardization: *Establish and maintain standards for manufactured parts and products, promoting consistency and quality throughout the production process.
* *Vendor Qualification:* Evaluate and qualify new vendors to ensure they meet the company’s stringent quality standards.
* *Efficiency Enhancement: *Identify and implement measures to enhance manufacturing efficiency, streamlining production processes without compromising on quality.
* *Document Management: *Write, verify, and implement changes to orders, BOMs, procedures, project plans, and related documentation for new and existing product lines.
* *Pre-Production Review: *Review all documentation before product release to production, providing valuable input and recommending improvements when necessary.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
* Minimum of five years of experience in Quality Manufacturing Engineering roles.
* Strong knowledge of drawing tolerances, weld symbols, and finishes.
* Familiarity with engineering processes and documentation (SOPs, ECNs, work instructions).
* Proficiency in using quality inspection tools.
* Experience working with Autodesk software for drawing and BOM updates.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop effective countermeasures.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective supplier/vendor interactions.
* Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and optimizing manufacturing efficiency.

Pay: From $75,000.
