east coast.
(((This is NOT a Taylor Brands LLC "Schrade" made in China product))) This honesteel sharpener & deer chisel was built to last a lifetime.
The two-sided hard flat surfaces with striations hones/sharpens your blades without worry of wear as with sharpening stones.
File has striations along the length of the two (rounded) sides too, meant to be used like a butcher's sharpening rod as well.
Just a few strokes after knife use and your blades will be kept razor sharp.
The full grain leather sheath is designed to belt carry with you for field sharpening and also serves as a honesteel file handle (see photos #5, 6 &7).
The chisel end (see photo #4) was designed to break off stubborn pelvic bone on deer for an easier dressing process.
This Schrade USA Honesteel Sharpener & Chisel was designed strictly for high carbon steel blade and not to be used for newer stainless steels.
