We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will provide essential support to healthcare providers, ensuring efficient patient care delivery.
Centrally located in Lincoln Center in San Antonio, Alamo Slim Clinic is the premiere medical weight loss clinic and health and wellness med spa.
We provide our patients with a variety of products and services to assist with weight loss, weight management, beauty, and wellness treatments such as Cryotherapy and Red-Light therapy.
Alamo Slim Clinic is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to join our amazing team! The ideal candidate will be a Certified Medical Assistant who has at least two years of experience working in a medical office.
Duties:
- Perform clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, assisting with exams, and administering medications as directed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of medical information.
- Assist in medical procedures and treatments under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
- Handle administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, and managing medical records.
- Provide compassionate patient care and support to individuals during their medical visits.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
· Certified Medical Assistant credentials.
· Must be a Multi-tasker.
· Experience taking vitals.
· Ability to administer injections.
· High level of computer literacy, including experience using MS Word and Excel.
· Ability to access and accurately record electronic health records via iPad.
· Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to establish trust and rapport with patients.
· Highly self-motivated team player with a willingness to assist with back-office duties such as answering phones, sanitizing patient rooms, filing and data entry.
· Ability to work independently; takes initiative without being asked.
· High level of professionalism with an excellent attendance record.
· Experience background from any of these fields: Primary Care, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, MedSpa, Plastic Surgery, Medical Weight Loss
· Experience with Semaglutide or HCG is a plus
· Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Pay: $20/hour and higher, depending upon experience.
This is a full-time position with hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and half-day on Saturday.
We are closed on Sunday and Monday.
