Job Responsibilities:
As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the growth and success of our retail auto insurance sales operations within the designated region.
Your main duties will include:
* Leadership: Provide strong leadership and guidance to district managers and sales representatives, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and training to achieve sales targets and excel in their roles.
* Sales Performance: Assist the team in meeting sales goals for the district, monitor their progress regularly, and implement strategies to boost performance and meet or exceed targets.
* Team Development: Coach, mentor, and develop district managers and sales representatives to foster a high-performing and motivated sales team.
* Recruitment: Work closely with the HR department to identify and recruit for sales representative positions.
* Strategy Implementation: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with overall company objectives and drive revenue growth.
* Market Analysis: Keep abreast of competitor activities, and customer needs to identify potential opportunities and challenges within the region.
* Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance evaluations of district managers and sales reps, providing constructive feedback and implementing improvement plans where necessary.
* Operational Efficiency: Work closely with the operations department to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the sales stores, focusing on maximizing productivity and minimizing operational costs.
* Compliance: Ensure that all sales activities comply with carrier regulations and company policies.
Job Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
* Proven track record of success in sales management within the insurance industry, preferably in the non-standard market.
* Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve their full potential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with team members and clients.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to make informed decisions and drive sales strategies.
* Flexibility to travel within the region as required.
* Experience in the auto insurance sector is a definite plus.
