Inside Sales Reps will be responsible for daily operations and sales support while coordinating with customers to meet their equipment needs.
They will provide sales support to the Outside Sales Representatives.
The sales function focuses on retention of existing customer base while targeting new clients in order to implement a continuous growth plan.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Dedicated support to answer or coordinate responses for all requests from customers.
Communicates product specifications, customer requirements and brand restrictions.
Helps customers determine the best solution for their needs.
Responds to requests from customers for information.
Engages in online inventory management and email communication most of the day.
Provides information on product availability and pricing
Telephones prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline.
Remains knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments in the industry.
Keeps management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports.
Works closely with Support, Account Management and Business Development.
Commits to assist team members in achieving team goals.
Respond in a timely manner to customer inquiries and prepare sales quotes.
Develop a strong relationship with the customer base.
Receive and process requests directly from customers (via telephone, fax and mail) for price quotations, product availability, orders, material returns, billing corrections, product information, order changes, and cancellations
Plan and implement telemarketing and prospecting objectives
Quickly and smoothly resolve customer complaints and problems
Engage in specialty purchasing (when applicable)
Coordinate delivery and/or pick up of customer orders with operations teams
Provide support to Outside Sales force (also serve as a backup)
Generate price quotations in a timely manner
Responsible for adhering to policies of the customer financial services
Maintain accurate and up to date "open order" files in computer system
Maintain adequate supply of product samples and literature
Adhere to established Company pricing guidelines
Review all orders to forecast additional customer needs
Interact with peer locations when necessary, on inventory issues and deliveries
Work with Replenishers to achieve the best product line
Sustain a working technical knowledge of all available products
Review job bidding documents for quotes
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Highly accurate with good attention to detail.

Highly motivated self-starter who can work well in a team setting or independently handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong computer skills and comfortable using Microsoft Office product suite
Must be able to communicate and follow-up with co-workers, customers and vendors
Must be able to learn and retain vast amounts of product information
Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills
Strong organizational skills
High sense of urgency
Strong planning, problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of construction or related equipment preferred but not required
Always represent ATSCO in a positive and professional manner
Adhere to all safety rules and complete safety training as required
Preferred
Minimum 1 year experience in Inside Sales in the electrical industry
