JOB SUMMARY
The person in this position will be responsible to drive sustainable, profitable, market share growth by developing new relationships for sales.
This person will also be responsible to develop current accounts to increase partnerships where possible.
You will generate leads, and use our CRM to track information.
This role will report directly to the National Director of Sales.
RESPONSIBLITIES
Performs all phases of sales activities in a timely fashion
Set up weekly sales visits, lunch and learns, discovery meetings
Maintain accurate records of all activities and sales in the company CRM, to include Commercial Property/Facility Managers, Procurement Officers, Commercial Claims Adjusters, Commercial Agents, Commercial Owners and others
Participate in professional associations and organizations
Secure partnerships through Service Agreement and Pre-Disaster Agreement opportunities
Respond to incoming opportunities or projects and help coordinate the mobilization and response accordingly
Attend various trade shows and/or events deemed appropriate and beneficial by Management.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Up to 80% regional travel withing the coverage territory (Jenkins Restorations, San Antonio).
Travel may be required on to properly manage client relationships.
This will include any trade shows, adjuster meetings, or other scenarios or opportunities deemed necessary and beneficial by the National Director of Sales.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, the Business Development Leader should have knowledge of industry related software, be able to “touch type” and be familiar with software like Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
); as well as use CRMs, Social Media and mobile devices.
REASONING ABILITY:
The Business Development Leader should possess the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
