Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Parts Manager to lead our parts department.
In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of parts inventory management, sales, and customer service.
You will ensure our department runs efficiently and profitably, while providing exceptional support for our customers and the service department.
Responsibilities: • Manage motorcycle parts inventory, including forecasting demand, ordering parts, and maintaining optimal stock levels.
• Oversee parts pricing to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
• Stay current on product knowledge, customer service, and inventory management.
• Assist customers in locating the correct parts for their motorcycles.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely parts deliveries.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure accuracy.
• Generate reports on parts sales, inventory levels, and profitability.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest motorcycle parts and accessories.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications: • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in motorcycle parts sales or a related field.
• Proven experience in inventory management and control.
• Excellent knowledge of motorcycles and motorcycle parts.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and parts department software (preferred).
• Experience with Sage 50 is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
• A valid driver's license.
• Motorcycle experience a plus.
