The Counter Sales Lead will assist the Branch Manager in the daily clerical and administrative task for the counter sales area of the branch.
The Lead is also responsible for leading and providing guidance in the counter sales area.
In addition, the Lead will stay as an active part of the team by attending to walk-in customers and answering incoming calls.
The Lead will generate revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders; understanding and interpreting technical requirements.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Review open sales orders and follow-up on the status of those orders.
Assist with the resolution of issues that arise in the sales, inventory or warehouse side of the branch.
Intercede when necessary in dealing with customers, vendors and manufacturers.
Ensure that all company processes are followed by all support departments.
Keep office properly staffed and perform administrative tasks when needed.
Communicate and disseminate sales information
Ensure that the sales team is being held accountable for their responsibilities.
Perform all duties of a counter sales representative
Any other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
Valid Driver’s license and driving record that aligns with our safety standards.
Proficient in MS Office and other computer applications
Able to read, interpret and explain sales orders and inventory reports.
Establish and maintain tactful, courteous, and effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including the general public.
Possess a sense of urgency
Excellent attendance record

Have extensive customer service skills and the ability to make sound decisions that reflect CKPS values.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
2+ years’ experience in Counter Sales preferred
Minumum 1 year of customer service experience
Product knowledge or industry experience preferred
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Office area and Warehouse environment
40 hours a week plus overtime
