Fischer & Wieser’s Das Peach Haus is seeking a Wine Associate.

Skills Maintain and clean equipment including tasting machines, chillers and related items.
Process sales through POS System Maintain stock levels of all wines and supplies needed in the wine area.
Ensure products are delivered to the store in a timely manner Engaging customers by answering questions and providing information about products/services Provide excellent customer service Remain up-to-date on new products/service Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships Displays exceptional interpersonal skills in a diverse environment Abilities Ability to guide customers in tastings, must be able to learn about our wines and share key characteristic of our wines with tasters Provide education to parties interested in our wines and product pairings Foster loyal customer relationships Ability to perform in fast-paced environments Energetic and willing to learn Flexibility to work various shifts (available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays; may work evenings on occasion) Must be dependable Knowledge Understand of the retail sales process Knowledge about wine (including common wine terminology) While training will be provided as needed, previous experience is preferred.
Candidate must maintain a TABC license (and must comply with standards, ordinances, and laws) and be at least 18 years old.
High School degree or GED Fischer & Wieser offers pay starting at $15 an hour plus paid holidays, and a great employee discount on our products.
