Salary Range: $36,000- $45,000/Annualized, commensurate with education, experience and qualifications.
Hours: up to 40 hours per week, exempt.

Essential Functions Function: To provide administrative support to Global Initiatives with hosting international delegations and implement special international programs.
Collaborate with Global Engagement Team with the initiation, development, and documentation of institutional relationships and academic initiatives with foreign universities, institutes, and government entities.
Scope: Coordinates and arranges the protocol required by activities with international visitors and related events.
Accomplishes projects related to international initiatives as assigned by the Associate Director of Global Engagement and/or the Vice Provost for Global Initiatives.
Core Responsibilities Schedules and coordinates activities in assigned projects related to inbound and outbound delegations.
Creates and processes electronic documents such as purchase orders, reimbursements and travel.
Serves as a point-of-contact and coordinator responsible for ensuring appropriate protocol is in place for meeting engagements, activities, agreement signings, and social events for international visitors and guests of Global Initiatives.
Coordinates with UTSA stakeholders the implementation of special international programs.
Researches new program ideas.
Coordinates marketing and communication activities for special programs.
Assists in the development of international collaborations, then collects data from various sources and analyzes for accuracy, completeness and relevance.
Prepare social media posts, presentations and other forms of official communications.
Edit speeches, memoranda, reports and proposed publications.
Develops and oversees the maintenance of office filing systems.
Maintains complex and confidential files for administrators.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Represents UTSA Global Initiatives at city, state, national, and international associations/consortia and events.
Required Qualifications Bachelors in Business, Global Affairs, Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Tourism, Hospitality, or any other related field.
3 years of experience in special programs, program coordination, coordination of programs involving international partners or experience in a higher education institution.
Experience in the administration of educational programs in a University, Military, or Governent setting.
Excellent program planning and implementation skills.
Ability to work and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders (faculty & staff) and international partners.
Outstanding organizational and computer skills.
Experience creating presentations and hosting high-profile events.
Time management.
Experience in data management.
Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in the management of related programs and initiatives in a University setting.
Bilingual in the languages of English and Spanish, with the ability to speak, read, and write at a high level of professional competence in both languages.
The ability to multi-task, work and lead in a fast-paced professional business environment.
Excellent intercultural communication skills.
