Quick place to stay for Solar Eclipse? (Kerrville)

Hi, I am looking for a quick room for the Solar Eclipse.

I plan to go to Maine but if the weather is cloudy the week before I see the forecast, I would like to rent a place in the Kerrville area.
I will be flying to San Antonio April 4 to the 10th from Boston.
Renting a car and will drive to your place.
Willing to pay $50/night for a room with bathroom and shower and probably.
Again, this is not set in stone.
Can someone keep my in mind.
I am a photographer, piano teacher, also work customer service for almost 30 years.
60 yrs old.
I am safe looking for same.
Just need a place to sleep and go out to eat, do my own thing.
