Permit Drawings-Architectural Plans, Foundations Plans and MEP, Certificate of Occupancies: Don't get caught doing a remodel without a Building Permit.
It's a pain in the butt to suddenly have City Building Officials harassing you.
It's not only embarrassing, but can cost you more than the little project you were trying to build.
I have dealt with General Contractors and Homeowners alike who have been fined or threatened to have their new project demolished.
Now my GC friends have their clients call me to produce a set of Permit drawings for them first.
I work with the city and produce the drawings and documentation they want.
I have Designed and Built many hundred-million-dollar projects in my career.
But have always done little side jobs.
I like doing smaller projects because the average person needs a Garage turned into a Master Bedroom and Bath, an Enclosed Porch, a Bathroom added or even a Bedroom added to their existing house.
Those projects can be done in weeks, and it makes the people very happy and grateful.
And me too.
It's not uncommon for me to pull over 30 building permits in a year.
Thats why I am very good at producing Permit Sets.
Last year I did a remodel on a historical SOHO Manhattan New York apartment and got the Building Permit on the first try.
This last December I did a small clinic in Stone Oak in San Antonio.
I got the building permit in less than 30 days on the first try.
On that one I did the MEP also.
