Assistant Community Manager

Job Summary
The Assistant Community Manager is responsible for assisting the Community Manager in the day-to-day operations of the property, including leasing, resident relations, marketing, and administrative duties.
The Assistant Community Manager must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and must be able to provide excellent customer service to residents and prospects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the Community Manager in leasing apartments and maintaining high occupancy levels
Provide excellent customer service to residents and prospects
Assist with resident relations, including handling resident complaints and resolving issues
Assist with marketing efforts, including creating and distributing flyers, updating social media accounts, and conducting outreach to local businesses and organizations
Assist with administrative duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining resident files
Assist with rent collection and delinquency management
Assist with property inspections and maintenance requests
Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
Perform other duties as assigned by the Community Manager
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred
Minimum of 1 year of experience in property management or related field
Excellent customer service skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software
Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed
Physical Demands
The Assistant Community Manager must be able to sit, stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods of time.
The Assistant Community Manager must also be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment
The work environment for the Assistant Community Manager is a residential apartment community.
The Assistant Community Manager may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and moderate noise levels.
