Lead Maintenance or STRONG Assistant Maintenance (San Antonio- Alamo Heights)

AWESOME OPPORTUNITY!! We are currently hiring for a Maintenance person to oversee the general maintenance of a nice, small 64 unit, 1-person apartment community located in Alamo Heights.
We are looking for a hands-on person who enjoys helping residents, working as a team member and someone who comes to work with a smile on their face and a can-do attitude! This is a great opportunity to "be your own boss" and work alongside other Lead Maintenance employees on neighboring properties.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: -Troubleshoot and perform necessary repairs of the apartments including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, electrical.
-Turn units that become vacant for new prospects to move in.
-Ensure resident service requests are completed on a timely basis.
-Maintain the exterior of the property to provide clean and nice curb appeal.
-Manage expenses in order to meet the maintenance budget.
-Comply with all OSHA regulations and health, safety and environmental laws.
Qualifications: -A minimum of 3-5 years of apartment maintenance experience.
-Strong knowledge in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems.
-Excellent verbal communication skills.
-Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines.
-Able to be on-call every other week for after-hours emergencies.
