Mortgage Post Closing Specialist (Shipper)

The Mortgage Post Closing Specialist (Shipper/Funder) is responsible for: Verifies completeness of data on loan papers and electronic documents.
Review loan documentation for accuracy and proper completion; follow up on outstanding documentation.
Prepare loan files for shipping in accordance with investor instructions and procedures.
Maintain accurate shipping log register; monitor shipping dates and adhere to deadlines.
Comply with bank policies and procedures, regulatory requirements and investor guidelines.
Retrieve any documentation missing from shipping files in a timely manner.
Ensure MERS is updated and accurate.
Maintain files and enter data into computer as applicable.
Responsible for pipeline of allocated files from funding through purchase.
Must maintain regular attendance.
May perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Accurate input ability.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
