Howdy Y'all, looking for an additional guitarist/vocalist, bassist and drummer.
Influences include Brand New, Modest Mouse, Pavement, Joyce Manor, La Dispute, Pinegrove, The Antlers, Explosions in the Sky, Arcade Fire, The Shins, and a whole lot of others ranging from Sufjan Stevens to Counterparts.
I've been playing guitar for 15 years and can swing some piano too.
Not the best singer but can fit the genre well enough.
Anyways, looking to start with some covers, get a setlist together, write some originals and try to play a bit around town.
Maybe record if we sound decent.
I'm 28, married, with a full time career.
Happy to invest in practice space, gear and whatever we'd need to have some fun and play music.
Just trying to escape the reality of working in corporate America for the next 30 years.
