Tune Low, play slow - looking for a drummer who are interested in putting together a super heavy minimalist music band doing originals and covers.
So music ranging from Sunn O)) to Sabbath, Electric Wizard, Monolord, Windhand, St.
Vitus, Celtic Frost, COC, Down and alike.
I am a mature (somewhat) rhythm player with a few tunes written and know a few covers - enough for playing a set out or more.
Some of the music is posted on-line if you are interested.
I can also move over to bass if we have a couple of guitar players.
So I am thinking we would assemble the band and play a few shows out.
Branding a doom band is not easy - maybe tuned down heavy blues? We need a bass player, drummer, singer and a lead guitar player.
Yes this is a start up - I have played several doom to sludge shows back in Houston and a couple here in the San Antonio area.
One of my bands in Houston had a an offer from a label, but that isn't worth much any more.
BTW we walked after seeing the contract.
I have a place to practice that is fully equipped or can travel.
My schedule is flexible so working around others is easy for me.
