Adolescent Day Center Job Duties and Responsibilities: Daily supervision and on-site administrative responsibility for the overall operation Ensure that the operation follows current heightened monitoring plans, if applicable Oversee staffing patterns to ensure the supervision and the provision of child-care services that meet the needs of children in care Ensure the provision of planned but flexible program activities designed to meet the developmental needs of children Have a system in place to ensure and employee is available to handle emergencies Assign tasks to caregivers that do not conflict or interfere with caregiver responsibilities Administer and manage the operation according to policies Ensure a child in care is not assigned, utilized, or allowed to act as a caregiver Ensure persons whose behavior or health status is known to present a danger to children are not allowed at the operation Participate in and ensure a person from leadership team is always appointed to handle emergencies and be on call and accessible to caregivers Establish system to inform all caregivers and H.

and The Joint Commission standards Maintain monthly compliance checklist for The Joint Commission Plan, assign, direct, and appraise work performance; reward and provide corrective action for employees as needed; address complaints and resolve problems Identify areas for improvement in group therapy programs and overall culture of the residential treatment center Identify areas where quality assurance improvement plans are needed; identify areas of concern, root causes, and action steps to resolve Provide timely responses when asked for information Maintain close communication with Regional Director of Operations Assist with coverage as needed (Clinical Case Manager, Nurse Manager, Lead House Chef, Chef, and other positions) Participate in on-call program Oversee culinary department and evaluate efficiency/quality/appropriate menu planning/cost control/proper food supply Budget compliance – track all expenses monthly and supply copies of receipts Ensure client attendance is recorded daily (P.

) on Company census sheet Monitor overtime and follow approval process Ensure interior/exterior integrity of the residential treatment center Monitor and communicate landscaping, property maintenance, animal care, preventative maintenance, capital improvement, and kitchen needs on an on-going basis Hold employees accountable to job descriptions Oversee nurse manager and entire medication administration program; ensure all medical protocols are compliant with H.
