, a fast-growing leader in the petroleum services industry, is looking for an energetic, hardworking experienced Service Manager to lead a dynamic team in our San Antonio branch.
The primary duties of the Service Manager position will be to manage the day-to-day service operations of the branch including daily interaction with the service technicians; some remotely via phone or e-mail across the assigned territory and to maximize efficiency while maintaining excellent safety standards.
The Service Manager will also be responsible for obtaining the highest level of customer service and satisfaction through interacting with clients and ensuring technicians meet the customer’s expectations.

Responsibilities:
Manage service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
Work with dispatcher to meet customer’s service goals and expectations
Oversee and manage safety aspects of service department to ensure company safety standards and procedures are followed
Ensure that necessary safety equipment is available
Assure technicians understand and follow customer protocols and procedures
Participates in the development of branch and employee goals
Work with Corporate Service Coordinator to ensure technicians are up-to-date on training and certifications and on the latest technical information
Manage department P&L
Assist technicians in field when necessary
Ensure correct and appropriate use of company hardware and applications
Ensure service technicians are in proper dress/uniform and present a quality image to our customers and the general public
Ensure the delivery of quality customer service at the branch through personal contract with customers and prospects.
Oversee the direction of the branch staff to assure effective utilization of personnel, timely and objective performance evaluations, equitable salary structure and identifiable career paths for qualified interested candidates
Meet regularly with staff to communicate objectives and goals, branch operating status and employee input to improve branch performance so that high quality information flows in both directions.
Qualifications:
Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Four-year college degree or equivalent industry experience
Branch management experience, not required but a plus
Strong leadership skills to direct staff of up to 25 persons
Well-developed planning skills
Ability to listen and communicate well with employees and customers
Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings to accommodate training, monitoring and supervisor coverage
Experience working with Gilbarco, Wayne, or similar dispenser preferred but not required
Certifications in Gilbarco, Veeder Root, INCON, Verifone or similar preferred but not required
P & L experience preferred but not required
Ability to:
Travel as necessary
Lift 50 pounds unassisted and work in a high traffic area
Work flexible hours
Work independently and as a member of a team
Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors)
Capability for multi-tasking and highly organized, with excellent time management skills
Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices
Pass a drug test and background check
