Let Purvis Industries show you how we practice these principles daily! The South Texas Regional Manager is responsible for managing a six branch Region that increases sales, profitability, market share, and customer & team member satisfaction.
Directing, coordinating and monitoring all sales, branch operation and personnel development activities.
Creates and executes sales strategies, plans and budgets to grow accounts, recruits new customers and introduces product initiatives within a defined territory to increase company sales and profitability.
A minimum of 50% travel is required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Develop and implement sales plans in conjunction with local Sellers.
· Coach all team members on best practices.
· Insure team member growth is attained through various channels of training.
· Periodically accompany Sellers on customer calls · Assist Branch Managers in achieving branch and organizational objectives.
· Communicate effectively with other branches, peers and upper management by sharing information on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs.
· Address customer satisfaction issues promptly.
· Achieve the sales goals/objectives of the region and organization.
· Assume overall accountability for revenue, margins, mix and market share objectives.
· Analyze data for trends and develop and execute “value added” programs.
· Create and implement programs to drive sales and improve margins.
· Assess local market conditions, identify current and prospective sales opportunities and develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans for the branch.
· Participate in sales meetings and prepare required reports.
· Hire, train and supervise branch management and sales staff.
· Travel within territory calling on major accounts and gleaning local knowledge.
· Increase knowledge of industry and products as well as management and finance disciplines.
· Negotiate pricing and agreements, resolve conflicts.
· Gather, synopsize and disseminate information concerning general price levels, competitive new product introductions, and competitive activity in specific market locations.
· Prepare sales budget forecast.
· Develop corporate promotional programs.
· Review sales territories to determine if sales goals are being met.
· Other duties as assigned.
