Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Specialist with a background in insurance claims to join our legal team.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of insurance law, a proven track record of handling insurance claims, and the ability to provide strategic legal advice to clients in the commercial trucking domain.
*Responsibilities:*
* Conduct thorough legal research and analysis related to insurance claims.
* Provide expert guidance on insurance policies, coverage issues, and regulatory compliance.
* Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to gather information and build strong cases.
* Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including settlement agreements, contracts, and legal correspondence.
* Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and hearings related to insurance claims.
* Stay updated on changes in insurance laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide proactive legal advice.
*Qualifications:*
* Degree from an accredited law school.
* Spanish
* +3 years of experience in insurance law, with a focus on handling insurance claims.
* Strong knowledge of insurance policies, coverage issues, and relevant regulations.
* Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
* Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
* Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
*Preferred Qualifications*:
