Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages as needed
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for attorneys
- Prepare and file legal documents, such as pleadings and correspondence
- Organize and maintain client files, both physical and electronic
- Assist with billing and invoicing using QuickBooks or similar software
- Manage office supplies and inventory
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, such as drafting letters and memos
- Coordinate meetings, conferences, and other events as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document preparation
Please note that this position does not require any medical or dental office experience.
However, if you have experience in those fields, it may be beneficial.
